Our Story

Liner notes · Side A, opening track

Neither of us were looking. Then late one night, a few wines in, Eliza added Miles on Snapchat and bet he'd never actually fly up to Sydney to see her. He booked the flight that week, and after that first weekend we were done for. Miles came up nearly every weekend, by plane or by car, and we filled the days apart with Fortnite, too much TV, and falling asleep on the phone to each other.

We met in July 2024, and by November Eliza had packed up and moved down. By April 2025 Miles was certain, and that May he proposed with a ring he'd convinced her had sold out (it hadn't, that was the whole trick). One silly bet, a very willing groom and a lot of air miles later, here we are doing the most romantic thing two homebodies can think of: pressing it to vinyl and throwing a black-tie night by the sea. Bring your good shoes.

Getting Here & Staying

5:30

Anglesea sits about 1.5 hours southwest of Melbourne, out on the Great Ocean Road. Here's the one-stop shop: where to stay, how to fly in, and how to get to the door.

A-Side · 03c

Drive

A hire car is recommended: the venue is ~1.5 hr from Melbourne via the M1 & Geelong Ring Road, then onto the Great Ocean Road.

On rideshare Uber & DiDi cover Geelong and the Surf Coast, but availability into Anglesea, especially late, can be patchy. Plan a car, or pre-book a local taxi. Adults only + open bar means please don't drink & drive.

The Wishing Well

Your being there is the whole gift, truly. We're lucky to already share a home and most of the things that fill it, so we're not doing a registry.

If you'd like to do something more, a small contribution to our wishing well would help us press the next chapter: a honeymoon, and a few adventures worth recording. There'll be a wishing well on the night, or you can have a quiet word with either of us. Whatever you choose, thank you. It means the world.

With love, Miles & Eliza

Side B

B-Sides & Bonus Tracks

hidden

The small print, flipped over and pressed on the back. A few things worth knowing before the night.

B1Can we bring the kids?

This one's for the grown-ups: our celebration is adults only. We hope it gives you a well-earned night off to let your hair down with us.

B2What does black tie mean here?

Bring out the best: tuxedos and dinner suits, floor-length or formal gowns. The venue itself is relaxed and coastal, but we're doing this one properly, so when in doubt, dress like the cover art.

B3Is there parking?

Yes. Lovehouse is ours alone for the day (closed to the public), so there's parking on site. That said, with an open bar running all night, the smart move is to leave the car overnight and arrange a lift, a cab, or a bed nearby. See Track 03 for where to stay and how to get around.

B4What time should we arrive?

Doors open at 2:00pm, so please arrive then, settle in and grab a drink, as the ceremony begins at 2:30pm. Better a little early than missing Side A, Track 1.

B5What's the weather like?

Early Aussie summer on the coast is generally warm and bright, but the Great Ocean Road keeps a sea breeze in its back pocket, so a light layer for the evening never hurts.

B6Bonus track · hidden pressing

You found the hidden track. Two of our favourites live down here on the run-out groove, so keep them company. A wave for the confused duck, and a quiet nod to a certain ultimate life form.
